10,000TH ONLINE LITTER REGISTERED WITH THE KENNEL CLUB

BACK in 2006, the Kennel Club launched an online litter registration service in a bid to speed up processing time. A year later and the Kennel Club is pleased to announce the 10,000th online litter registration.

The scheme was created to ensure that breeders were provided with a faster, more effective method of registering new pups. The Kennel Club hopes the online scheme will provide breeders with more control of their litter registrations, with the distinct benefit of providing options early in the naming process of the puppies, thereby getting the registration correct before it is received for processing.

Mrs O'Connell & Mr Thompson, the breeders of the 10,000th online litter, commented: “We registered our nine Golden Retriever puppies on the Kennel Club website in November as we didn’t want to get caught up with the Christmas post. We were a bit concerned the system would be too complicated to use but it turned out to be simple, efficient and very easy to do.”
